General Information:

The Regatta will take place on Emigrant lake - 175 Emigrant Lake Rd.  Ashland, OR

Each rower shall pay a $20 entry fee, regardless of the type of boat or number of races entered.

All participants must sign the NOARA waiver (see attachments at the bottom of this page) prior to the race.

Medals will be awarded.  You must finish ahead of at least one boat to be awarded a medal.  Categories may be combined to give you someone to race against.

Coaches, coxswains and scullers must attend a mandatory meeting at the boathouse on race day at 6:30am.

This is an intermediate level course.  Navigation skills will be required.  Coxless boats may contain novices, but they must have an experienced bow.  Please confirm that all coxswains and bows understand the rules of rowing.  Overtaking boats have the right of way over slower boats.  Boats being overtaken must yield to the outside of a turn or otherwise follow the instructions of the overtaking boat.

We plan to use many of our boats for multiple races.  Please listen carefully and follow the instructions of the dock master to ensure efficient launches & landings.

Racing crews have the right of way over all other boats.  Boats warming up or returning from the finish line must yield to oncoming crews and remain clear of the race course.

Other races may be available depending on interest.  The schedule will most definitely change….depending on the entries received.  Please have all entries submitted by Sunday, Sept. 11 to give us a chance to figure this out.

Oh and as you may have guessed by the photos –  it’s a costume event!  Pull out your favorite Elizabethan attire, but don’t get your tunic caught in the tracks!  Afterward, join us for a potluck lunch at the boathouse.How to enter:
